Inaugural CSOHNS National Mentorship Program

As part of his CSOHNS presidency, Dr. Sam Daniel has launched the CSOHNS National Mentorship Program, an initiative designed to celebrate our community’s leaders and foster the sharing of passion, knowledge, support, and empowerment of future generations in the field of Otolaryngology.

Registrants of our 2025 Meeting will have the opportunity to take part in Mentorship Dyads, participate in the Personal Development track as speakers and audience members, and will witness the first year of Mentorship Awards and Acknowledgement.

We are actively seeking Mentors to volunteer in our Friday, May 30th Mentorship Dyads. We have had an incredible outpouring of participation.

Thank you to the first volunteers; Drs. Jane Lea, Daniel MacNeil, Lilly Nguyen, Sena Turkdogan , Kevin Higgins, and Kathryn Roth. Congratulations on being pioneers in this important initiative. Your participation is invaluable.

An Historic Meeting

We are thrilled to announce a landmark collaboration for our society—the 79th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology will be presented in partnership with our esteemed friends at the Societé Française D’ORL from France! This year’s meeting promises to be an unprecedented gathering of thoughtful leaders and innovators from Canada, France, and around the world.

Prepare to immerse yourself in a dynamic atmosphere that celebrates collaboration and knowledge-sharing. Our program is designed to infuse the meeting with rich insights from leading experts who will share their experiences, advancements, and best practices. With a lineup of inspiring keynote speakers, engaging workshops, and interactive panel discussions, attendees will delve into the latest research and developments shaping the future of our specialty. Our French counterpart will be providing a full 2.5 day track for the scientific program.

This historic collaboration not only enhances our understanding of otolaryngology but also fosters international partnerships aimed at elevating patient care. The diversity of perspectives from our global contributors will encourage innovative thinking and pave the way for new strategies in clinical practice.

Join us as we build connections and cultivate a stronger, more united community within the field. Together, we can leverage this unique opportunity to advance our shared mission of improving outcomes for patients around the world.
