The CSOHNS National Mentorship program

An initiative designed to celebrate our community’s leaders and facilitate the sharing of passion, knowledge, support and empowerment to future generations in the field of Otolaryngology. 

Mentorship Awards

Introduced in 2025, by president Sam Daniel the Mentorship Awards are designed to celebrate the dedication of leaders in the field that dedicate time and energy to supporting new generations of Otolaryngologists in their personal and professional development. The Nominations have now closed. Thank you to all who nominated individuals who have inspired and supported your growth and development. All nominees will be recognized in a physical Mentorship Installation at the 2025 meeting.

Mentorship Dyads

Registrants of the 2025 Annual Meeting will see the inaugural launch of the Mentorship Dyads, an opportunity for passionate mentors and keen mentees to connect and exchange in 45-minute one-on-one sessions. 

The details

Dyad Formation: On Friday, May 30, 2025, we will be forming mentorship dyads, pairing mentors with mentees. 

Mentoring Sessions: Mentors will participate in 45-minute sessions with their mentees, providing guidance and support on a range of professional development topics. You may choose to offer 1 or multiple sessions.  

Topics : Sessions may revolve around career or personal development. Please indicate your preference of topic(s) in the volunteer form. Â
