GLAXOSMITHKLINE POSTER COMPETITION
The Society will award a $500 prize for the best scientific poster presentation at the meeting.
ROYAL COLLEGE MAINTENANCE OF CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
The 62nd Annual Meeting is an accredited group learning activity under Section1, as defined by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for the maintenance of certification program. The total number of hours for this meeting is 35 hours.

Start this year’s conference off with a guided walk/run around stunning Lac Beauvert at the Jasper Park Lodge. This one hour tour will include highlights and stories about the area. Net proceeds will be donated to the COHNS Fund.

On Monday evening, the Mary Schaffer Ballroom will be transformed into a Las Vegas casino. Enjoy the beauty of spectacular Maligne Valley. A short walk at Medicine Canyon is followed by a scenic drive up the valley to the “disappearing” Medicine Lake, then on to Maligne Lake, all the time enjoying the enlightened commentary of the guide on the mysteries, facts and folklore of the area.

A prize will be awarded for best poster presentation. Judging will take place on Monday and Tuesday during the lunch break. Your presence beside your poster at that time is completely OPTIONAL as judging will be based on the poster only.
ALL POSTER BOARDS are 4′ x 8′ and your poster boards should be 45″ wide x 90″ tall.
SET UP – Sunday, June 1, 2008 – 10 to 17:00
DISMANTLE – Tuesday, June 3, 2008 – 16:00 You must remove your poster at the appropriate time, otherwise we cannot guarantee its return.

All paper presentations, workshops and panel discussions will be recorded for publication on the Society’s website and for possible publication in the Journal of Otolaryngology.

PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION CANCELLATION
Payment can be made by CHEQUE or VISA CREDIT CARD ONLY. NO OTHER CREDIT CARD WILL BE ACCEPTED. A full refund of the registration fee will be given for cancellations received before APRIL 30, 2008. A fee of $50 will apply thereafter. Register early and avoid the substantial increase in the late and on-site fees. Written acknowledgement of registration WILL NOT be provided prior to the meeting. Receipts will be distributed on-site.
