Following the success of our 79th Annual Meeting in Fredericton, I want to express my sincere appreciation to all who contributed to a thoughtful, collegial, and high-calibre gathering. Under the leadership of Dr. Sam Daniel, whose presidency was marked by dedication to mentorship and academic excellence, our Society continues to grow in scope and impact. The Scientific and Planning Committees deserve special recognition for their tireless efforts in creating such a meaningful program.
As we now turn our focus to the 80th Annual Meeting in Calgary, we are excited to announce a bold and timely theme: Canada’s Role in the World: Leadership through Education, Innovation, and Collaboration. This meeting will celebrate the remarkable contributions of Canadian otolaryngologists and amplify the global relevance of Canadian voices across disciplines.
In this spirit, we are curating a plenary lineup that includes a powerful roster of Canadian leaders who exemplify this theme—from space medicine and sport to arts and public service. We will announce the keynotes in the coming month.
We are working hard behind the scenes to get key details to you. Please stay tuned for updates, guest speaker announcements and early bird registration release.
