Paid Workshop ($150)
From Ear Fullness to Vertigo: Practical Otology for the General Otolaryngologist
Paid Workshop ($250)
This comprehensive, hands-on workshop is designed for clinicians looking to strengthen their foundational ultrasound skills and advance their expertise in interventional procedures and radiofrequency ablation (RFA).
“What’s New in Rhinology: Practicing State of the Art Rhinology in 2026”
This is a hands-on session designed for medical students with a focus on emergency airway management. Students will have the opportunity to rotate through stations and perform procedures on a 3D model. In the first station, students will learn how to place a flexible laryngoscope and identify relevant anatomy. The second part of this station gives students the chance to perform a cricothyrotomy. In the second station, surgical approaches to emergent airway management will include performing a tracheotomy on a 3D model. The final station will include how to change a tracheostomy tube and address tracheostomy emergencies. This session will have a flipped classroom format with an online package of background information that will need to be reviewed before the activity. Participants will be sent the link before the course and sign up will be promoted through the LearnENT social medial platforms. Students must complete the pre-session questions prior to the session date. This session is first come first served; a completed test is necessary for entry, but does not guarantee entry.
OUTCOME OBJECTIVE 1: At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to demonstrate how to place a flexible laryngoscope and identify related anatomical landmarks.
OUTCOME OBJECTIVE 2: At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to demonstrate how to perform an emergency cricothyroidotomy and tracheotomy.
OUTCOME OBJECTIVE 3: At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to name the components of a tracheostomy tube, demonstrate how to maintain a tracheostomy tube and how to approach tracheostomy tube-related airway emergencies.
