The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery is pleased to announce the upcoming 51st Annual Residents’ Research Day, taking place on Friday, May 23rd, 2025. This highly anticipated event will bring together experts and thought leaders in the field of Otolaryngology to share the latest advancements and research.
This year’s event will feature Dr. Samuel Selesnick as the Distinguished Visiting Professor for the keynote address. Dr. Selesnick is a renowned figure in the field, currently serving as Professor and Vice Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology and Professor of Otolaryngology in Neurological Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College. His keynote address promises to provide invaluable insights into the future of Otolaryngology and its intersection with Neurological surgery.
In addition, the event will feature Dr. Douglas Angel as the Distinguished Guest Alumnus speaker. Dr. Angel is an esteemed Otolaryngologist – Head and Neck Surgeon at Memorial University in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. His expertise and experience in the field will contribute to a dynamic and enriching program.
